He is my all time favorite poet! If I am sad or upset about something I automatically turn to one of his amazing poems and feel better. I wish he was still alive so I could meet him

Edgar Allan Poe was a man before his time. His poetry, his writings and his life proved this to be true. Edgar may the ravens fake flight over your grave of dirt for your names sake. See you in the darkness.

I was in either 2nd or 3rd grade when my teacher first introduced my class to the Library. The Librarian told us to all sit around her as she read The Pit and the Pendulum to us. It was so suspenseful that, from that day on, Poe became my favorite poet.

Dear Edgar Allan Poe, I like your verses very much

  One Look

One look and I was under your spell, how I long to be in your gazes. Just one more look before my eyes close forever more. One look and I was stuck. My heart races even in death when see you. Your eyes so cold and blue. How I desire your gazes.

Slain

A woman is slain, her blood stained the floor. Her body is stiff and cold. No one knows who or what could of done such a thing. It's all over when the slain woman is laid to rest. Forever more, never going to know what happened

The Curse

The curse is haunting me. I feel it every where I go. I am losing control. I am forever fighting this curse. The hunger is building. My hunger grows. I need to feast, the desire is growing. I smell the sweet blood of everyone around me. I want it. No I need it!
                                                                                                                                     C. Whitlock

The moon is lost to me tonight,
Darkness replaces for the fight.
Wind screams loudly against the door,
Spirits creep across the floor.
Just hold onto my hand,
Now is time to make a stand.
Don't leave my side and we as one,
Can ride this through back to the sun.
Keep them off of me I said.
Off of my back off of my bed.
I will do the same for you,
Don't be scared this is not new.
